Early in his career, Dalip Singh, under the ring name “Giant Singh,” began wrestling for All Pro Wrestling (APW) in the United States, making his debut in October 2000. However, on May 28, 2001, a tragic incident occurred during training when Brian Ong, who had previously suffered a concussion, was instructed to continue despite his condition. A subsequent concussion proved fatal for Ong. As a result, Ong’s family filed a lawsuit against All Pro Wrestling, which led to APW being ordered to pay over $1.3 million in damages.
