The Great Khali Net Worth, Salary, Biography 2026 Age, Height, Born and More

The Great Khali Net Worth, Salary, Biography 2026 Age, Height, Born and More: Dalip Singh Rana, born on August 27, 1972, is an Indian professional wrestler, actor, and powerlifter, widely recognized by his ring name, The Great Khali. He competed in WWE from 2006 to 2014 and made history as the first Indian to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Prior to his career in professional sports, he served as an officer in the Punjab state police. Along the way, he tried his hand at acting, lifted more than most could dream of, and built a life that’s reportedly worth $8 million by 2026—a figure that seems almost too small for someone whose presence literally stops people in their tracks.

The Great Khali

It’s wild to think that The Great Khali went from patrolling the streets as a Punjabi police officer to towering over crowds as a WWE superstar—seven feet one inch of sheer presence that made history in 2006 when he became the first Indian signed by WWE. Watching him in the ring, it’s impossible not to be impressed by the mix of raw power and almost awkward charm he carries, like someone who doesn’t just wrestle but literally owns the space he’s in. Beyond the wrestling, Khali somehow managed to jump into acting—Bollywood, Hollywood, you name it—and even opened a wrestling academy back home, shaping the next generation of grapplers while racking up a reported $8 million net worth by 2026. There’s something inspiring about that blend of determination and unexpected versatility.

Early career

Daivari and The Great Khali were moved to the ECW brand officially when they made their ECW debuts on the 31 October 2006 edition of ECW on Sci Fi. Daivari beat “The Reject” Shannon Moore in a very quick match. Daivari’s original theme music was used as well as his Persian rants on the microphone. Afterwards, Moore was manhandled by The Great Khali. Daivari continued his ECW winning streak over the next several weeks with The Great Khali usually following up the contest with a chokebomb on Daivari’s opponent.

APW ended up facing a lawsuit, and the court held them responsible, awarding over $1.3 million to Ong’s family. It’s one of those tragedies that makes the wrestling world feel thrilling and reckless at the same time, a stark reminder that behind every highlight reel, there are real people and consequences that can’t be undone.

Early Life

Under the ring name Giant Singh, Dalip Singh first became a professional wrestler for All Pro Wrestling (APW) in the United States, making his first appearance in October 2000, when teaming with Tony Jones against the West Side Playaz.

They were the tallest tag team in professional wrestling history at an average height of 7 foot 2½ inches, and a combined weight of 805 pounds. The two teamed up for the first time at the Tokyo Dome in October, labeled “Club 7” by Chono, and defeated Yutaka Yoshie, Kenzo Suzuki, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Wataru Inoue in a Handicap Match when Silva pinned Tanahashi and Inoue at the same time. Singh suffered his first loss in a tag match in January 2002 after Hiroyoshi Tenzan pinned him with a cradle. He suffered another big tag defeat during March, being pinned by Manabu Nakanishi after a German suplex pin. His most critical loss came in August at Tokyo Nippon Budokan when, after a falling out, he was pinned by Silva in a singles match.

Personal life

Singh was born to Jwala Ram (father) and Tandi Devi (mother); he is one of seven siblings–Inder Singh and Mangat Singh Rana. Although his parents are of normal stature, his grandfather was well over 6 ft 6 inches. Singh’s training schedule consists of two hours of weight training, morning and evening, every day. Maintaining his size requires a strict daily dietary regimen: one gallon of milk, five chickens and two dozen eggs, along with chapatis, juice and fruit.

It’s the payoff for someone who turned ring fame into side ventures, stayed relentless, and never just leaned on being 7 feet tall. The Great Khali’s Greatest Moments: WWE Playlist

The Great Khali’s Wrestling Career

Khali’s WWE debut in 2006 was the kind of moment that made the wrestling world stop and stare—7 feet 1 inch of sheer presence that you couldn’t ignore. He didn’t just rise fast because of his size; there was this oddly magnetic charisma that made people remember him long after the match ended. Taking the World Heavyweight Championship and going toe-to-toe with WWE’s biggest stars didn’t just make news—it etched Khali’s name into wrestling history. Years later, long after the crowds have quieted, those epic clashes and unforgettable moments still fuel his legacy and keep the money—and admiration—rolling in outside the ring.

Winning the World Heavyweight Championship and going head-to-head with WWE’s top stars didn’t just make headlines—it carved Khali’s name into wrestling history. Even now, years after the cheers have faded, those epic battles and unforgettable moments still keep his legend alive, reminding everyone why he was larger-than-life and quietly fueling the success he enjoys outside the ring.

The Great Khali’s Luxurious Lifestyle

The Great Khali lives life on a scale most of us can only dream about—his sprawling estate in India is less a home and more a statement, blending classic elegance with flashy modern touches that just scream success. Watching someone that massive slide into a ridiculously expensive car like it’s no big deal is oddly charming, almost like seeing a kid with the ultimate toy. He shows up at high-profile events and exclusive parties, and his social media gives tiny, teasing peeks into a world of champagne, designer everything, and gatherings that make anyone else’s Friday night look like practice. It’s a weird mix of awe and envy, like “yeah, that’s life goals… on steroids,” yet there’s something kind of relatable about someone fully leaning into the life they’ve built, no apologies, just pure, unapologetic enjoyment.

The Great Khali’s Current Income

Khali’s current income comes from multiple sources. Although his earnings from professional wrestling have decreased since his retirement, they still contribute significantly to his income. Additionally, The Great Khali is active in various business ventures, including endorsements, acting roles, and television appearances. His entrepreneurial drive has led him to invest in several enterprises, further enhancing his financial status.

On the May 12 edition of SmackDown!, Khali was John “Bradshaw” Layfield hand-picked opponent against World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio. Khali had a height advantage of two feet and a weight advantage of 250 pounds, and defeated Mysterio in a squash match. In his match against The Undertaker at Judgment Day, Khali defeated The Undertaker with a kick to the head after receiving some illegal help from Daivari. The match was moved to the SmackDown! just prior to SummerSlam and was won by The Undertaker, giving Khali his first definite loss in WWE.

The Great Khali’s Acting Career and Other Endorsements

Khali didn’t just stay in the wrestling ring—he wandered into acting and modeling too, and honestly, it’s kind of wild that it actually worked. He’s popped up in films, made TV appearances, and proved there’s more to him than just being massive and intimidating. Brands clearly can’t get enough—his presence alone turns anything into a marketing win, and yes, that paycheck definitely grows. Watching someone already larger-than-life branch out like this is strangely satisfying.
