Early Life and Career
Sean O’Malley started his combat sports career with boxing. He trained in boxing for two years and competed in a boxing battle in 2016, which he won by TKO in the first round. He began training in MMA alongside his boxing. He made his amateur debut against Stein Anderson in Fight Force – Helena Havoc 11. He won the bout via second-round TKO and went on to have a 7-1 amateur record before turning professional. O’Malley made his professional MMA debut in 2015 at ICF 17 against John Reyes, where ‘Sugar’ outperformed Reyes and TKO’d him in the first round with punches.
