Sadie Sink was born to a math teacher mother and a football coach father. She has three older brothers and a younger sister. While her family had a strong connection to sports, Sink and her brother Mitchell were more inclined toward the performing arts, especially musical theater. They often recreated scenes from High School Musical (2006) and enjoyed watching Broadway plays and Tony Award performances.
