The Las Vegas Raiders’ 2024 season has been filled with struggles, from poor quarterback play to injuries and off-field drama, making head coach Antonio Pierce’s future uncertain. With the Raiders sitting at 2-8, discussions are heating up about the potential for a coaching change. According to Evan Massey of Sports Illustrated, former Tennessee Titans head coach and current Cleveland Browns consultant Mike Vrabel is emerging as a top candidate to replace Pierce.
A source close to the league reports that Tom Brady, part-owner of the Raiders, is particularly interested in bringing Vrabel aboard as the team’s next head coach in 2025. Vrabel and Brady share a strong connection from their time together on the New England Patriots, where they won three Super Bowls. As a coach, Vrabel had notable success with the Titans, leading them to three straight playoff appearances, including a run to the AFC Championship Game in 2019.
