Cedarian DeLeon “CeeDee” Lamb born April 8, 1999 is a professional football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL). Lamb played college football at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned consensus All-American honors in 2019, before being selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

In his true freshman year at Oklahoma in 2017, Lamb caught passes from quarterback Baker Mayfield, who later won the Heisman Trophy. Lamb played in all 14 games, recording 46 receptions (tied for second among freshmen) for 807 yards (a school freshman record) and seven touchdowns (tying the school freshman record). He also set freshman single-game records with nine receptions for 147 yards and tied the mark with two touchdown receptions in a game against Texas Tech. Lamb was named a freshman All-American by ESPN for his outstanding performance.

CeeDee Lamb Early Life
Lamb was born in Opelousas, Louisiana, and lived in New Orleans until his family evacuated to Houston, Texas, due to the impact of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He attended John and Randolph Foster High School in Richmond, Texas, where he excelled in football. During his junior year, Lamb recorded 57 receptions for 1,082 yards and 11 touchdowns. In his senior year in 2016, Lamb had an exceptional season, catching 98 passes for 2,032 yards (ranking fourth in state history) and 33 touchdowns (tied for second in state history), along with three punt return touchdowns.
Leading his team to a 14–1 record, with their only loss coming in the 5A-D1 state semifinals to Temple High School, Lamb earned numerous accolades, including All-State honors and being named the Houston Touchdown Club’s Offensive Player of the Year and the Houston Chronicle’s All-Greater Houston Football Offensive Player of the Year. Rated as a four-star recruit by 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN, Lamb received offers from top programs, including the University of Alabama and the University of Texas, ultimately committing to the University of Oklahoma on July 25, 2016.
