Professional career
Judon was invited to the East-West Shrine Game, but was unable to participate when an arthroscopy revealed what was described as a “tweaked meniscus”. He was one of sixty-five defensive linemen invited to the NFL combine, and the first Grand Valley State player in two years to accept and participate. Judon demonstrated athleticism and strength by finishing first among defensive lineman in the 40-yard dash (5th), bench press (5th), and vertical jump (4th). On March 15, 2016, he attended Grand Valley State’s pro day alongside four other teammates.
During the pre-draft process, Judon worked out and met with the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Philadelphia Eagles. At the end of the pre-draft process, NFL draft analysts and scouts predicted he would be drafted in the fourth round. Although he shown a strong combination of strength and quickness, his fourth-round ranking was primarily due to teams’ doubts about his ability to transition his skills to the professional game after playing Division II football in college, as well as concerns about his injury history.

- Trade Consideration: The 49ers might offer a future third- or fourth-round pick based on recent trades involving top pass rushers.
Chicago Bears
- Current Situation: The Bears are gearing up to compete this season with a revamped roster. While they’ve focused heavily on improving their offense, their defense could use a boost.

- Trade Consideration: The Bears might be willing to trade draft picks to strengthen their defense further.
Detroit Lions
- Current Situation: After a strong 2023 season where they made it to the NFC Championship game, the Lions are aiming to improve their defense.

- Trade Consideration: The Lions could be interested in trading future draft picks to get Judon and enhance their chances of reaching the Super Bowl.
Los Angeles Rams
- Current Situation: The Rams are known for making bold trades to build a championship-caliber team. With Aaron Donald retired, they need a new top pass rusher.
