Early life

In the Iowan city of Dubuque, Plummer was born on October 21, 1999. Playing football for Gilbert High School in Arizona, he completed 515 of 888 passes for 6,913 yards and 69 touchdowns against 25 interceptions throughout his time as a football player. Together with the 13-yard reception, he also ran for 572 yards and nine scores. The 2017 season saw Plummer earn an honorable mention spot on the All-USA Arizona High School Team. College career
