Danny Simpson Biography- Daniel Peter Simpson (born January 4, 1987) is a former English professional footballer who is now a professional boxer. He played as a right defender. He began his career in the Premier League with Manchester United and went on loan to Royal Antwerp, Sunderland, Ipswich Town, Blackburn Rovers, and Newcastle United during his professional growth. He joined Newcastle on a permanent basis in January 2010, before moving to Queens Park Rangers on a free transfer in June 2013. He joined Leicester City in 2014, when the club had just been promoted to the Premier League. He was a member of the Leicester club that avoided relegation in his debut season before winning the Premier League title in 2015-16. Football career
Simpson was born in Eccles, Greater Manchester to a Jamaican father and an English mother. Simpson played for Parkwyddn JFC in Eccles as a youngster before joining Manchester United. He is a Manchester United youth system product who rose through the ranks to join the reserve squad in 2005. In early January 2006, he was loaned to Belgian Second Division club Royal Antwerp for the remainder of the season, along with three other United teenagers, in order to get match experience. Simpson also played the first half of the 2006-07 season with Antwerp before returning to United in January 2007. On January 25, 2007, he signed on loan with Sunderland for the remainder of the season.
He teamed up with fellow Manchester United player Jonny Evans on loan. He won the Championship title with Sunderland that season. Simpson returned to United at the start of the 2007–08 season and signed a new deal in September 2007 that would keep him there until 2010.

Simpson has two daughters: Skye, who was born six weeks preterm in mid-2011, and Vienna, who was born in 2020. On May 20, 2015, Simpson was convicted guilty of beating his then-girlfriend and child’s mother, Stephanie Ward, on December 28, 2014. He was sentenced to 300 hours of community service.[45] On May 12, 2016, his sentence was reconsidered in light of press interference into his community service, and he was given a 21-day curfew from 22:00 to 06:00.
