Actor Jeff Goldblum surprised the public with an impromptu piano performance at St Pancras International in London, celebrating the release of Wicked. Goldblum, who portrays the Wonderful Wizard of Oz in the film adaptation set to hit cinemas on Friday, played three songs on Wednesday under a specially designed Wicked tree. The Jurassic Park star, known for his musical talent, delighted onlookers with a couple of Christmas tunes and a song from Wicked. His performance took place beneath a tree designed to honor the Emerald City, complete with a large handmade replica of the Wizard of Oz’s head.
The surprise performance was part of the excitement leading up to the film’s release, which also saw the cast of the show gathering at the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Centre on Monday for the UK premiere.
