Daniel Dubois Latest News

Daniel Dubois has challenged Jake Paul to a world title fight after Paul’s controversial win over Mike Tyson last weekend in his heavyweight debut. The British heavyweight champion, who defeated Anthony Joshua by knockout in September, has offered Paul a shot at his title. Paul’s fight with Tyson in Dallas quickly drew criticism after Tyson, in his first fight in four years, barely threw a punch. Paul won the bout on points, but many questioned the legitimacy of the contest, given Tyson’s lengthy layoff and age. Following the victory, Paul received multiple offers for his next fight, including one from undisputed light-heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev and another from Dubois.

On Instagram, Dubois sent Paul a message: “Hi Jake, good business on the weekend, but how would you feel fighting for the legitimate heavyweight championship of the world? This is Daniel Dubois calling you out, let’s get it on.” It’s clear Dubois is eager to make a statement by taking on the YouTube star-turned-boxer, and now it remains to be seen whether Paul will accept the challenge.
