Early life
Robert Leo Sommerville and Elizabeth Ann Calkins welcomed Stephanie Ann Sommerville into the world in Colorado. After her mother’s first marriage to Dave Allen, with whom she had another daughter, and her second marriage to Roger Schroder, her parents divorced. Grisham was raised in an agricultural household. In 1994, she graduated from Eastmont High School in East Wenatchee, Washington, after relocating there with her mother. Since then, her mother has relocated to Nebraska, where she goes by the name Ann Schroder. In 1997, Grisham enrolled as a Democrat and started to cast ballots in Arizona.
Career
When Grisham was suspected of fabricating expense records, she lost her job as AAA Arizona’s spokesperson in less than a year. After Grisham was accused of plagiarism at her next job at the advertising agency Mindspace, she was let go for directly copying content from AAA onto her client’s website. Grisham served as a spokesperson for the Arizona Charter Schools Association from 2008 to 2010. She got to know Tom Horne, the public school administrator of Arizona, there. After Tom Horne was elected Arizona’s attorney general, Grisham served as his spokesperson approximately from 2011 to 2014. Witnessing Joseph Wood’s 2014 execution, she made the contentious claim that the two-hour ordeal had been “quite peaceful,” despite other accounts claiming that Wood had “gasped and snorted” throughout.

On April 7, 1997, Stephanie Ann Sommerville wed Danny Don Marries in Nevada. At Grand Junction, Colorado’s Mesa State College, they first connected. The day after their son’s first birthday, her husband accepted a position as a news anchor with Tucson, Arizona’s KOLD-TV. 2004 saw their divorce.She married Todd Grisham, a KOLD sportscaster at the time, later in 2004. In 2006, they got divorced. Grisham gave birth to Jake, her second son, on December 25, 2007. Grisham dated Trump White House aide Max Miller in 2019–2020.
