Chadha, born on 11 November 1988 in New Delhi, completed his schooling at Modern School, Barakhamba Road in the capital city before graduating from the University of Delhi. Following this, he obtained his Chartered Accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and later pursued an MBA certification course at the London School of Economics. Political career

Chadha emerged as the prominent face of AAP on television and became the youngest national spokesperson of the party and one of the youngest among all political parties. Following AAP’s victory in the 2015 Delhi Legislative Assembly election, Chadha, at the age of 26, was designated as the party’s national treasurer. In April 2018, Rajnath Singh, who was the Union Minister of Home Affairs at the time, rescinded his role as an advisor to Manish Sisodia along with 9 other advisors.

After the election, he was named vice-chairman of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and given responsibility for the water portfolio in the Delhi Government.

Chadha, along with four others, was nominated by AAP for the post of Rajya Sabha members from Punjab for a six-year term starting in 2022 on 21 March 2022. His election faced no opposition, making him the youngest MP at 33. Additionally, he was assigned to the Parliament’s Standing Committee on Finance in Rajya Sabha, which oversees laws and policies from three union ministries and the NITI Aayog. In April 2022, Chadha accused the BJP of settling Bangladeshis and Rohingyas in Delhi to incite riots.
