Hall attended Raytown South High School in Kansas City, Missouri, where he played in football, wrestling, and track. He has two siblings who are also track athletes: Breanna and Milton Hall. He is the son of Milton and Iecia Hall. Hall broke the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) state record in 46.82 seconds to win the 400-meter state championship in 2016. Hall studied at the California College of the Sequoias as well. He was the 2017 California Community College Athletic Association champion in the 400-meter hurdles, 400-meter relay, and 400-meter sprint, which helped the team win the state championship at the CCCAA State Track and Field Championships.
