He debuted in first-class cricket for Kabul Region in the 2019 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament on 29 April 2019 and in Twenty20 for Mis Ainak Knights in the 2019 Shpageeza Cricket League on 8 October 2019. He was selected for Afghanistan’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in December 2019 and for St Lucia Zouks in the 2020 Caribbean Premier League in July 2020.
His List A debut was on 14 October 2020 for Mis Ainak Region in the 2020 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament. At 15 years old in December 2020, he joined Melbourne Renegades for the 2020–21 Big Bash League season in Australia. Chennai Super Kings enlisted Noor as a net bowler in their squad for the 2021 Indian Premier League in March 2021. He also played for Karachi Kings in the 2021 Pakistan Super League in June 2021.
Noor was selected for Afghanistan’s ODI squad against Pakistan in July 2021. He was also chosen for the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies. At 18 years old, he became the youngest player to debut in the World Cup, playing against Pakistan in Chennai on October 23, 2023.
