High School Career
Strawther played basketball at Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada. During his junior year, he averaged 27.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. In his senior season, he posted averages of 31.5 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, earning co-MVP honors in the Southeast League. Strawther set a record at the HoopHall West Invitational, scoring 51 points in a game against Apollo High School.
