Kaufhold participated in the World Archery Championships in’s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, in 2019 in the women’s team recurve event. Erin Mickelberry, Kaufhold, and Khatuna Lorig made it to the elimination rounds; however, they lost their first match against Sweden. At the World Archery Youth Championships in Madrid, Spain, in August 2019, Kaufhold and Josef Scarboro took home the silver medal in the cadet mixed team recurve competition. Kaufhold and Brady Ellison earned the silver medal in the mixed team competition hosted in Medellín, Colombia, during the 2019 Archery World Cup the same year. With a score of 675 out of 720 potential points in the 72-arrow 70-meter ranking round in September 2019, she broke the previous junior world record.
Kaufhold earned a spot to compete for the United States in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, by qualifying at the 2021 US Olympic Trials.
