Early Life
Born in Northampton, England, Turner is the daughter of Sally, a nursery school teacher, and Andrew, who works in pallet distribution. At the age of 2, she moved to Chesterton, Warwickshire. She attended Warwick Prep School until she was 11 and then went on to The King’s High School for Girls. Turner has been a member of the Playbox Theatre Company since she was 3 years old and has two older brothers, though she lost her twin before birth. Growing up in a large Edwardian house near Leamington Spa, Turner described her childhood as “pretty fun,” with access to pigsties, barns, and a paddock where she enjoyed playing in the mud.
