Junior Gymnastics Career
In 2019, Evans participated in her maiden Welsh Championships and finished third in the espoir division’s all-around. She participated at the British Championships the following month, finishing second in the floor exercise and ninth overall. In 2020, the majority of tournaments were canceled or postponed due to the global COVID-19 epidemic. Evans participated in a competition at Elite Gym Massilia in late 2021, finishing seventh on the vault and thirteenth overall. Her next competition was the 2021 British Championships, when she won the junior division’s all-around title.
Evans participated in and won the junior division at both the Welsh and British Championships early in the year. She participated in the European Youth Olympic Festival in July, helping Great Britain secure the sixth place. She placed second individually behind Helen Kevric in the vault. Evans participated in the European Championships the following month, helping Great Britain place fourth. She finished fourth in the floor exercise and thirteenth overall in the individual competition. Evans participated in the Northern European Championships in November. She was a part of Wales’ winning team. She won gold on the vault alone. Evans participated in the Top Gym Tournament to close out the year, finishing second in the all-around competition.
Senior Gymnastics Career
In 2024, Evans reached senior senior competition age-eligibility. At the Cottbus World Cup, she made her senior debut for Great Britain, finishing second in the vault behind Manila Esposito and third in the floor exercise behind Azuki Kokofugata and Esposito. Evans finished second at the Welsh Championships, just behind Poppy-Grace Stickler. She finished fifth in the all-around at the British Championships, but she took home the gold in vault.
In September, Evans was chosen to compete for Great Britain at the 2024 World Championships with Georgia-Mae Fenton, Jessica Gadirova, Alice Kinsella, and Ondine Achampong. Evans made history by being the first Welsh gymnast to be nominated to represent Great Britain at the World Championships in 17 years. Olivia Bryl and the other Welsh gymnasts were the last to do it. Evans contributed to the squad’s second-place finish in the team final during the World Championships. She helped Great Britain take sixth in the team final by earning points on the vault and floor exercise.

Start Sporting Career
At the Cardiff Olympic Gymnastics Club in Wales, she began participating in the sport at the age of five. When I was around seven years old, I placed highly in a competition. I was the target of complaints from several other mothers who thought I must have been older. It was a little weird that I ultimately had to prove my age. I initially had the thought, “Perhaps I could excel at this sport.”
Reason for taking up the sport
My parents chose to enroll me in some classes at my first gymnastics club, Cardiff Olympic Gymnastics, in an attempt to settle me down as a hyperactive child. They also enrolled me in swimming lessons; nevertheless, I had to make a decision when Welsh Gymnastics extended an offer for me to train with them full-time. My decision to join the gym undoubtedly led to my passion of gymnastics.”
