Early life
D’Souza was born on April 2, 1974, in Bangalore, into a Hindu household. His parents are Gopi Nair, an Indian Air Force chef, and Madhaviyamma, a housewife. D’Souza is originally from Olavakkode, Palakkad, Kerala. He has four sisters and an older brother named Ganesh. He was an athlete in school and took first place in the 100-meter race.
D’Souza finished his education in Jamnagar, Gujarat’s Air Force School. After finishing his 12th grade, he discovered he had little interest in studying for his HSC board exam. Even though his father had wanted him to enlist in the Indian Air Force, he promptly dropped out of school and moved to Mumbai. He is independent of all he has learnt about dancing thus far. He watched music videos, movies, and other media to learn how to dance.
