Reliance Jio Announces Mobile tariff Hike 2024: Full list of New Plans and Prices 2024 Reliance Jio has revealed an increase in prices for both its prepaid and postpaid packages. The new tariff rates will be implemented from July 3 through all platforms. The cheapest plan, originally priced at Rs 155, is now 22% higher at Rs 189. Despite the price adjustments, the plan perks such as call minutes and data limits will stay the same. The telecom company has raised prices for 14 prepaid unlimited plans, 3 data add-on plans, and 2 postpaid plans.

The updated tariff plans include different price adjustments for popular monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, annual, data add-on, and postpaid choices. Monthly plans now vary from Rs 189 to Rs 449 (previously Rs 155 to Rs 399). Bi-monthly plans range between Rs 579 and Rs 629, providing 1.5GB/day to 2GB/day data over 56 days. Quarterly plans start from Rs 479 to Rs 1199, with data ranging from 6GB to 3GB/day over 84 days. Annual plans are priced from Rs 1899 to Rs 3599. It is important to note that following the price increase, unlimited 5G data will be accessible only with plans offering 2GB/day data or more.

The postpaid plans have become pricier. The Rs 299 plan, which used to offer 30GB of data, now costs Rs 349 for the billing period. Similarly, the Rs 399 plan with 75GB of data now costs Rs 449.

Jio is also launching two new applications:

JioSafe: A quantum-secure communication app for calling, messaging, and file transfers, priced at Rs 199 per month.

JioTranslate: An AI-driven communication application that supports multiple languages for translating voice calls, messages, text, and images is available for Rs 99 per month. Jio subscribers can access these apps at no cost for one year. The price of the lowest recharge is increasing to ₹19, which is approximately 27% higher than the previous ₹15 for the 1 GB data add-on pack. Reliance Jio announced on Thursday that mobile service rates will go up starting July 3, marking the first rate hike in about two and a half years. Additionally, the cost of the 75 GB postpaid data plan will rise to ₹449 from ₹399, while the popular ₹666 unlimited plan with an 84-day validity will now be priced at ₹799 – a 20% increase.
