Rahul Chahar Biography
Cricket talent runs in his family. His older brother Deepak made an impressive debut by taking 8 wickets, assisting Rajasthan in dismissing Hyderabad for just 21 runs. Following the guidance of his brother and uncle, Rahul chose to specialize as a leg spinner, supported by their mentorship throughout his development. Sacrificing academics at a young age, Rahul focused entirely on cricket, progressing through various levels to eventually join the Indian under-19 team. However, his standout moment was being selected by Rising Pune Supergiant for the IPL 2017 season. Playing alongside MS Dhoni and Steve Smith, although only in 3 matches, offered him invaluable experience at the top tier of cricket. One of his remarkable boundary saves became a widely shared highlight from IPL 10.
