Born in Villarreal, in the Province of Castellón within the Valencian Community, Torres came through the youth system of his hometown club, Villarreal. He made his league debut for the reserve team on August 21, 2016, starting in a 1–0 away defeat to Cornellà in Segunda División B. He scored his first senior goal on October 8, 2016, opening the scoring in a 2–2 draw at home against Badalona. Torres made his first-team debut on December 20, 2016, as a late substitute for Víctor Ruiz in a 1–1 draw with Toledo in the Copa del Rey round of 32.
