Early life
He has eleven siblings and was born into a Dharampura, Lahore-based Muslim family of Punjabi descent. Nayyar was born in Quetta, where his father was stationed as a Radio Pakistan employee. Prior to making his acting debut in Asghar Nadeem Syed’s first play, Zindagi Jis Ke Naam, in 1984, he had a dream of being a cricket player and had even competed at the first-class level. Ustad Salamat Ali, a musician, is his elder brother.
Career
In numerous drama serials for Pakistan Television Corporation in the early 1990s, Nayyar gained reputation for his performance.[Reference needed] He has experience in a variety of motion pictures and is currently starring in several serials on various networks.[Reference needed] His well-known pieces include the PTV dramas Laag and Dhuwan.
