Manish Malhotra Early Life
Born into a Punjabi Hindu family in Mumbai, Manish Malhotra attended Sacred Heart Boys High School and later pursued Arts at Elphinstone College. At the age of 19, he began his career with modeling gigs for various ad campaigns, including brands like Fu’s, Weekender, Frooti, and Goldspot. He then joined a boutique called Equinox in Bandra, where he spent a year sketching and draping mannequins. In 1987, he hired two tailors and began taking customized couture orders from home. He styled actress Divya Bharti in a song sequence for a David Dhawan film in 1989, although the film was ultimately never released. Malhotra made his debut in the Hindi film industry as a costume stylist in 1990.
