Early life
Warrington, Cheshire, is where Katona was born. During World War II, Katona’s maternal grandfather, a Hungarian, evacuated Budapest and moved to London. She was placed in foster care as a young kid, raised by four separate sets of foster parents, and went to eight different schools. became a lap dancer and toured Europe after dropping out of school at sixteen. Artist Brian McFadden married Katona from 2002 to 2004. The couple has two children together: Molly Marie (2001) and Lilly-Sue (2003). She first became romantically involved with Mark Croft, a taxi driver, in 2005. The two were married on February 14, 2007, and had two children together, Heidi Elizabeth (2007) and Maxwell Mark (2008). Katona claimed in her memoirs, Still Standing, that she first got to know Croft when she was bringing cocaine home for her mother. 2011 saw their divorce. After Katona wed former rugby league player George Kay on September 14, 2014, she gave birth to Dylan-Jorge, her fifth child, that same year.
