Kendall Nicole Jenner was born on November 3, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, to television personality and entrepreneur Kris Jenner (née Houghton) and former Olympic decathlete champion Caitlyn Jenner (then known as Bruce Jenner). The inspiration behind Jenner’s middle name was Nicole Brown Simpson, Kris’ closest friend who was killed shortly before Jenner was born. Jenner has eight older half-siblings and one younger sister, Kylie. On her mother’s side of the family, Caitlyn has an elder half-sister named Casey Marino and three older half-brothers named Brent, Brandon, and Brody Jenner.Jenner has one older half-brother, Rob Kardashian, and three older half-sisters, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé, from Kris’ side of the family.

Jenner walked for designer Sherri Hill during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in September 2011 after being featured in Teen Vogue in April 2010. By the end of 2012, her career had taken off and she was featured on the covers of several magazines, including Flavour Magazine, Teen Prom, American Cheerleader, Looks, Raine, GenLux, and Lovecat. She had also scheduled advertising initiatives for companies like Leah Madden and White Sands Australia.
Jenner collaborated with Russell James, the Victoria’s Secret photographer, and was featured in Kurv, Miss Vogue Australia, and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, among other magazines. She also appeared in the Sydney and Los Angeles book launches of James’ “Nomad Two Worlds: Australia” book. Thanks to this collaboration, Jenner’s work began to focus more on high fashion, and in November 2013, she signed with The Society Management.
