On May 16, 1988, Kaushal was born in Mumbai. His mother, Veena, manages the house. His father, Sham, directs action scenes in Indian movies. Sunny, his younger brother, is an actor too. They are from Hoshiarpur and belong to a Hindu Punjabi family. Kaushal calls himself a regular kid who liked movies and cricket. Jai Singh Yadav lodged a complaint, stating his car’s license plate appeared in the movie scene illegally. An investigation revealed the license plate belonged to a production employee.
