Dulquer Salmaan born 28 July 1983/1986 is an Indian actor, playback singer, and film producer known for his work primarily in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. He graduated with a degree in business management from Purdue University and initially worked as a business manager in Dubai before turning to acting. Salmaan has received numerous accolades, including five Filmfare Awards South and a Kerala State Film Award. After completing a three-month acting course at the Barry John Acting Studio, he made his film debut in Second Show (2012).

Dulquer Salmaa Early Life
Dulquer Salmaan was born on 28 July 1983/1986 in Kochi, making him the youngest son of renowned actor Mammootty. He completed his primary education at Toc-H Public School in Kochi and his secondary education at Sishya School in Chennai. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Purdue University and worked at an IT firm in Dubai before deciding to pursue acting. To prepare for his new career, he attended a three-month course at the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai. On 22 December 2011, Salmaan married architect Amal Sufiya in an arranged marriage. Amal hails from a North Indian Muslim family settled in Chennai. The couple welcomed a daughter on 5 May 2017.
