Chris Bey recently suffered a serious injury that could threaten his career. The incident occurred during the October 27 taping of TNA, where Bey sustained a neck injury. Following the injury, his tag team partner Ace Austin shared an update on Bey’s condition, revealing that Bey underwent neck surgery and is currently recovering in Detroit. He will undergo rehabilitation to regain full strength. In his update, Austin also announced that a GoFundMe page had been set up to support Bey during his recovery, along with a WhatNot auction. Additionally, TNA will raise funds directly from fans at its shows in Fayetteville, North Carolina, at the Crown Arena on November 8 and 9. To aid Bey’s recovery, TNA has been selling merchandise, and the GoFundMe page has already raised significant contributions, with the goal set at $50,000. Professional Wrestling Career

Independent Circuit (2017–Present): Chris Bey began his wrestling journey at Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) in Las Vegas under the ring name Chris Strong. There, he trained under notable figures such as Disco Inferno, Kenny King, Sinn Bodhi (formerly known as Kizarny), and Kevin Kross (also known as Karrion Kross). Bey made his debut in Big Valley Wrestling in a tag match alongside partner Heck Dynamite, forming the duo Dynamite Strong.

In late 2017, Bey started competing for PCW Ultra, where he won his debut match against Adrian Quest. He then went on to defeat Hammerstone on October 6. However, Bey experienced a three-match losing streak in the promotion, with losses to notable wrestlers such as Jake Atlas and A.C.H.

WWE Career

Chris Bey began his professional wrestling career at the age of 21. He made his WWE debut on 205 Live on October 11, 2019, against Ariya Daivari, though he lost the match. He had additional matches against Lio Rush and El Fantasma Jr, losing both, and eventually left WWE after these appearances.

IMPACT Wrestling Career

Chris Bey officially signed with Impact Wrestling on February 19, 2020, though he had made several appearances for the company prior to signing. His first appearance came in 2018, when he teamed up with Matt Sydal to face The Rascalz, but they were unsuccessful. Bey continued to make sporadic appearances until officially joining the roster.

He secured his first victory in Impact Wrestling against Damian Drake and later competed in his first Impact Wrestling pay-per-view, where he defeated Rohit Raju, Suicide, and Trey. Bey also competed against Willie Mack for the X Division Championship in a triple-threat match with Ace Austin, though Mack retained his title. At Slammiversary, Chris Bey won the X Division Championship by defeating Willie Mack. He held the title for a period before losing it to Rohit Raju on Impact’s Emergence Night One.
