Early Life
Brie Garcia was born in San Diego, California, and raised on a farm in Scottsdale, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. She was born 16 minutes after her twin sister Nicole (Nikki Bella), to parents Jon Garcia and Kathy Colace. Of Mexican and Italian heritage, the twins were passionate soccer players growing up and played for a Scottsdale club during elementary school. Brie graduated from Chaparral High School in 2002 and briefly attended college in San Diego before relocating to Los Angeles. While in L.A., she worked as a waitress at the Mondrian Hotel while pursuing modeling and acting opportunities.
Her first national television appearance was on the Fox reality show Meet My Folks. This exposure led to her and Nikki being hired by Budweiser as the “World Cup Twins,” where they were photographed with the World Cup trophy. The Garcia twins also competed in the 2006 “International Body Doubles Twins Search” and participated in the WWE Diva Search that same year, although they did not make the final selection.
