Domestic Career
He debuted in List A cricket for Mis Ainak in the 2017 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament on August 10, 2017, followed by a first-class debut for Speen Ghar in the 2018 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day tournament on March 25, 2018. In September 2018, he was selected for Paktia’s squad in the inaugural Afghanistan Premier League. His Twenty20 debut came for Paktia Panthers during the 2018–19 Afghanistan Premier League on October 7, 2018. He was later awarded the joint Player of the Tournament in the 2020 Shpageeza Cricket League in September 2020.
International Career
He was selected for the Afghanistan squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in December 2017. In December 2018, he was included in the Afghanistan U23 team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Afghanistan named him in their squad for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh in November 2019. He was chosen for the Afghanistan Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the series against Ireland in February 2020. In January 2021, he was picked for the Afghanistan One Day International (ODI) squad for the series against Ireland. He played his first ODI for Afghanistan on January 21, 2021 against Ireland.
In March 2021, the Afghanistan Cricket Board finalized his inclusion in the T20I games against Zimbabwe after resolving his visa problems. He was then selected for Afghanistan’s T20I squad for the matches against Bangladesh in February 2022. His debut for Afghanistan in T20I matches took place on March 3, 2022, against Bangladesh.
