Early life
On April 7, 1991, Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson was born in East Tilbury, Essex. Her father is a handyman and builder from the East End of London, and her mother is a local teacher. Samantha is the name of her elder sister. Anne-Marie started stage school when she was five years old. As a kid, she participated in two West End productions: at the age of twelve, she costarred with Jessie J in Whistle Down the Wind, and at the age of six, she went on an audition for Les Misérables without telling her parents.
