Angus Young Achievements

However, Angus’s real passion was already taking shape. In the year leading up to leaving school, he had devoted much of his time to playing guitar, often jamming with friends and performing at school dances. Initially, he practiced on his older brother Malcolm Young’s guitars before his mother eventually bought him a cheap acoustic guitar of his own. By age 11, Angus briefly experimented with a tutorial course, but he quickly abandoned formal lessons, preferring a self-taught approach based on trial and error.
