Alejandra Guzmán began her musical journey in 1988 with her debut single, Bye Mamá, which she dedicated to her mother. In the 1990s, she released some of her most successful albums, including Eternamente Bella, Flor de Piel, and Libre, the latter of which launched under a contract with BMG Ariola. Her success earned her nominations for both Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards, and many of her albums were certified Gold and Platinum. Throughout her career, Guzmán has found success in both Mexico and the United States. She has collaborated with prominent artists such as Franco De Vita, Mario Domm, Fonseca, and especially Gloria Trevi. Alejandra Guzmán has had several public relationships. Her first was with Erik Rubín, but it ended due to conflicts involving Mexican singer Paulina Rubio.
