Espinal later gave birth to their child.
  • Child Abuse Investigation: In March 2019, Hill was investigated for alleged battery after his three-year-old son sustained a broken arm. The investigation led to an emergency hearing and temporary placement of his son into child services. On April 24, 2019, it was revealed that while a crime was believed to have been committed, evidence was insufficient to identify the perpetrator. A recording surfaced of Hill and Espinal discussing the incident, leading to a re-opened criminal investigation. By June 7, 2019, prosecutors announced the case against Hill as inactive, and by July 19, 2019, the NFL stated that no evidence of a personal conduct policy violation was found.
  • Assault Investigation: On June 18, 2023, Hill was investigated by Miami-Dade Police for allegedly assaulting a male employee at the Haulover Marine Center following a verbal disagreement. A settlement was reached later that month, and in August 2023, the NFL decided not to punish Hill.

Hill reached a confidential settlement with Lackner in February 2025 and confirmed paternity. In July 2025, a judge confirmed Hill as the father of Baker’s daughter, Trae Love Hill. Hill has been reported to potentially father at least ten children with four different women.
  • 2025 Lawsuit: On February 23, 2025, model and influencer Sophie Hall filed a civil lawsuit against Hill, alleging he broke her leg during a football lesson at his home in June 2023. Hill’s lawyer disputes the claim, stating that Hall’s injury resulted from falling over a dog during the drills.
