Surya kumar Yadav Biography: Suryakumar Yadav, born on September 14, 1990, and commonly known as SKY, is a prominent Indian cricketer. A right-handed lower middle-order batter, Yadav represents the Indian national team and serves as the captain of the T20I squad. He was part of the Indian team that clinched victories in the 2023 Asia Cup and the 2025 T20 World Cup. Yadav began his cricketing journey in Mumbai, progressing from club cricket to the Mumbai cricket team. He made his List A debut for Mumbai in February 2010, followed by his first-class and T20 debuts within the same year. His T20I debut came in March 2021, and he made his ODI debut in July of that year. Although he primarily plays limited-overs cricket for India, he had a solitary Test match appearance in February 2023. Yadav was first appointed as the captain of the Indian team in November 2023 and took over the T20I captaincy again in July 2025 after Rohit Sharma retired from T20Is.
