Simon Fuller was born on 17 May 1960 in British Cyprus. His family later moved to Accra, Ghana, where his father served as headmaster of the British Military School at Burma Camp. Eventually, they settled in Hastings, East Sussex, where Fuller attended school under the leadership of his father, who became headmaster there. He has two brothers, Kim and Mark. Fuller began his career in 1981 at Chrysalis Music Limited in the UK, where he signed Madonna’s breakthrough hit “Holiday.”

He founded his own management company, 19 Entertainment, which he sold in 2005 to CKX, Inc. in a deal valued at over $200 million in cash and stock. Under CKX, 19 Entertainment posted a profit of $92.5 million in 2008. He later served as a director at CKX, gaining creative control over high-profile assets including the Elvis Presley Estate and Muhammad Ali’s business interests. In 2010, Fuller launched a new venture, XIX Entertainment, while continuing to collaborate with CKX as a consultant and executive producer.
