Sikandar Raza Butt, also known as سکندر رضا, was born on 24 April 1986 and is a cricketer representing Zimbabwe. He is an all-rounder, right-handed batsman, and right-arm off-spin bowler. Raza made his debut for the Zimbabwean team in May 2013. Originally from Sialkot, he moved to Zimbabwe in 2002 with his family. His exceptional performance in domestic cricket led to his selection by the Zimbabwean national team, with citizenship being granted in 2011.

Despite nurturing this aspiration since the age of 11, it was devastating for Raza to witness its abrupt end. To pursue success, Raza enrolled at Glasgow Caledonian University and relocated to Zimbabwe, where his parents had been living since 2002. Starting as a semi-professional, he made his First-Class debut in 2007 with the Northerns. Following the restructuring of Zimbabwe’s cricket system in 2009, he joined the Mashonaland Eagles for First-Class cricket. Upon finishing his education, Raza resumed full-time cricket in the 2010-11 season, achieving a commendable record of 625 runs at an average of 41. He debuted in Twenty20 matches for the Southern Rocks in 2010 against the Desert Vipers and excelled as a T20 specialist, emerging as the top run-scorer in the 2010 Stanbic Bank 20 Competition.
