Reece James Biography- English professional football player Reece Lewis James was born on December 8, 1999. He plays right back for Chelsea in the Premier League, where he captains the squad, as well as for the England national team. After growing up in the Chelsea academy, James became a professional in 2017 after leading the under-18 team to the FA Youth Cup championship and winning Academy Player of the Year. After a successful loan with Championship side Wigan Athletic, he returned to Chelsea in 2019 and was elevated to the first team. Along with the team, he won the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, and the UEFA Champions League in 2021. In 2023, he was named captain. Following his youth career as an England representative.
