Nicole Appleton Latest News
Robbie Williams and his ex-girlfriend Nicole Appleton recently reunited at the premiere of his new film Better Man, which offers a dramatic portrayal of their relationship. The couple dated on and off between 1997 and 1999, and even Robbie’s wife, Ayda, has admitted he was a “crappy boyfriend” to Nicole, who has openly shared that she was moved to tears while watching the film.
The film, which chronicles Robbie’s turbulent rise to fame, his departure from Take That, and his relationships, presents a particularly raw depiction of his formative years. In the movie, a CGI chimpanzee portrays Robbie, and it also touches on painful moments, including the time when Nicole fell pregnant and chose to have an abortion. On the red carpet, Robbie, now 50, spoke about embracing the aging process and how he’s feeling much “happier” in his 50s, a stark contrast to the challenging years shown in Better Man. The film serves as a reflection on his past, including the highs and lows of his career and personal life.
