Early life and Family
Dilip Varma, a Punjabi father, and Uma Varma, a South Indian mother, were the couple’s parents. He attended Mithibai College after completing his education at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim. He was a member of the dance company led by Shiamak Davar and is a trained dancer. Actress Mihika Verma is his elder sister.

Career
Varma began his career as a model and actor in a number of commercials. In 2014, he made his TV debut as Raj Purohit in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. He received a nomination from the Indian Telly Awards for Fresh New Face Male. He played Kabir Kumar opposite Aneri Vajani in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins from 2014 to 2015. He was nominated for Male Actor of the Year at the 2015 Asian Viewers Television Awards for his performance. He reunited with Vajani in Bindass’s Yeh Hai Aashiqui (2016), where he played Josy Nair. He played Babbal Pratap on SAB TV’s Ichhapyaari Naagin from 2016 to 2017. He portrayed Shaurya in the anthology series Laal Ishq on &TV in 2018. Varma played Viraat in Shaadi Ke Siyape on &TV in 2019.
Varma portrayed Shikhar Shergill in Star Plus’s Divya Drishti from 2019 to 2020, costarring with Nyra Banerjee. Varma portrayed Aarav Sanghani in the 2022 film Anandibaa Aur Emily.
