Early Life and High School Career

Norris grew up in San Diego and attended Mater Dei Catholic High School in Chula Vista during his freshman and sophomore years. After his sophomore season, he earned All-CIF San Diego Section First Team honors, leading Mater Dei to a league title and a spot in the CIF semifinals. For his junior year, Norris transferred to Helix High School in La Mesa, where he averaged 11 points and 10 rebounds per game, contributing to Helix’s 31-win season and their appearance in the Division IV CIF State Championship Tournament. Norris then moved to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire for his senior year, helping the team win the 2018 New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class AAA regular season title. He was a four-star recruit, ranked 78th in ESPN’s top-100 players, with a scout grade of 87.

College Career

Norris began his college career at the University of Oregon in the 2018-19 season, appearing in 27 games off the bench. He averaged 3.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 10.5 minutes per game. He transferred to City College of San Francisco for his sophomore season, where he played a key role in helping the team go 30-0, win the Coast Conference North title, and claim the Northern California Community College championship in 2019–20. After going undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft, Norris signed a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks on July 6, 2023. He spent time with the Hawks’ NBA G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. However, on December 22, 2023, he was waived by the Hawks without making an appearance for the team. Four days later, he was picked up by the College Park Skyhawks. On April 3, 2024, Norris signed with Çağdaş Bodrumspor in the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). October 16, 2024, Norris signed with the Memphis Grizzlies, but was waived just three days later. On October 28, 2024, he joined the Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies’ G League affiliate. On March 2, 2025, Norris signed a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics.
