Marilyn Manson Biography 2024
Marilyn Manson’s 2022 defamation lawsuit against his ex-fiancée, Evan Rachel Wood, has come to a close. On November 26, 2024, Manson (whose real name is Brian Warner) agreed to drop the lawsuit and pay for Wood’s attorneys’ fees, according to lawyers representing both parties. Manson’s attorney, Howard King, issued a statement noting that Manson was “pleased to dismiss his still-pending claims and appeal in order to close the door on this chapter of his life.” The lawsuit, which had been ongoing for years, stemmed from Wood’s allegations that Manson sexually assaulted her and groomed her as a teenager. A Los Angeles judge had previously dismissed significant parts of the lawsuit, including claims that Wood had forged an FBI letter and a section alleging that she and another individual, Illma Gore, had created a checklist to guide other women in making abuse claims against Manson.
