Sports Career

He was inspired by Padma Shri Pargat Singh, a former Indian hockey captain who is also from Manpreet’s Mithapur village. The prizes his older brothers had won while playing hockey further attracted him. When he was 10 years old, his mother locked him in a room so that he couldn’t play hockey, so he started playing hockey on a regular basis around 2002.
