He started his international career in November 2014 with limited-overs cricket and later in November 2015 with Test cricket. By January 2018, at 22 years old, he had achieved the top position in both the ICC ODI bowler rankings and the ICC Test bowler rankings. In July 2018, he set a record as the youngest bowler to reach 150 Test wickets at the age of 23 years and 50 days. Rabada made history in July 2016 by winning six awards at Cricket South Africa’s annual dinner, including the prestigious Cricketer of the Year award. He repeated this success in June 2018 by securing six awards at CSA’s annual dinner, such as Cricketer of the Year, Test Cricketer of the Year, and ODI Cricketer of the Year.
