Early life
Duggar is the second child and first daughter of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Ruark. She was born in Tontitown, Arkansas, alongside her twin brother, John-David, as the first set of twins in the family. Their parents had a total of 19 children: 10 males and nine girls. She was homeschooled as a child.
Career
Duggar began her public existence as a member of the family portrayed in the documentary 14 Children and Pregnant Again (2004), which recounts the family’s daily routine from “time they wake up” to “time they go to sleep”. The documentary broadcast on Discovery Health Channel. Raising 16 Children, another documentary aired on the same channel in 2006, coincided with the birth of Duggar’s sister Johannah.
