Early Life
George was born in Harborne, Birmingham, to Neil Thomas, a political science professor, and Margareth Thomas, a social worker. She has a sister, Elizabeth, who is a veterinarian. Raised in Winchester, Hampshire, George attended Edgbaston High School for Girls from 1993 to 1998. She studied ballet as a child and became a junior associate at Birmingham Royal Ballet.
