Fazalhaq Farooqi, born on 22nd September 2000, is a professional Afghan cricketer representing the national team across all formats. He debuted internationally for Afghanistan in March 2021 and plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and Dhaka Dominators in the BPL. Fazalhaq’s first-class debut was with Amo Region in November 2017, followed by his List A debut in July 2018. He has also been part of Nangarhar’s squad in the Afghanistan Premier League and Afghanistan’s under-23 team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Fazalhaq made his Twenty20 debut in October 2019 for Boost Defenders in the 2019 Shpageeza Cricket League.
