She was the eleventh choice in the 2014 WNBA draft. She missed the 2014 WNBA season due to injury, but she debuted with the Sun in the 2015 season. Gray earned her first championship with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2016. She earned her second title with the Las Vegas Aces in the 2022 WNBA Finals, and she was voted Finals MVP. She won gold medals in 5×5 basketball in both the 2020 and 2025 Summer Olympics.
